19.5 Weeks Pregnant
Yup! Almost to the halfway point. Pregnancy has been pretty good to me – no real morning sickness, not feeling too tired, no real skin breakouts.
So far so good until yesterday; the books I’ve been reading often mention that women become clumsy during pregnancy. My friend Brooke said that maybe you have to get all your clumsiness out of the way before the baby arrives because when it does, you can’t be clumsy!
Over the past 4 months, I’ve broken a number of glasses, dropped things, stubbed my toes, and bumped my legs. It’s annoying and frustrating. But the worst was when I was taking a few snapshots yesterday with our little point and shoot Canon. I thought I laid it on the bed, but then in slow motion I realized I hadn’t. I saw it hit the ground and I let out a huge gasp. I knew it was broken – it made such a loud noise against the floor. I picked it up and saw that I must have done something to the lens. Everything was blurry. I turned it on and off. Nothing. Grrr. Lame. I hate when stuff like that happens! I hoped that maybe when Brad got home he could fix it, but unfortunately not. We figured the cost of repairing would be just slightly less than buying a new one. Now I know that I should probably put the little wrist strap on so this doesn’t happen again.
Anyway – this is what I look like. Crappy iPhone picture, but you can still see my belly is getting big!
