Couldn’t resist… Again!

18 Years Later.
Our friend Josh turned 31 last week and to celebrate, he and Tweeny threw a 13th birthday party. The party featured lots of younger birthday party things, including cake (Banana Chocolate Chip: massive and delicious from Vanilla Bake Shop) and ice cream, Doritos and candy necklaces, balloons and streamers, and of course, Rock Band! The catch was that you had to come dressed like you did when you were 13, AND bring along a picture of you from when you were 13. So I decided that I’d put on my school “uniform.”
I thought I did a pretty good job! I bought the skirt and socks and wore a shirt I already had along with my dad’s cardigan. I was one of 2 people who won a prize! The gift was an iTunes gift card featuring 30 greatest hits from the ’80s! A lot of fun was had by all. I’ll post more pictures of the event later.
My initials.
I don’t know about you, when whenever I see my name or initials, it kinda excites me! Actually, anything with my name is fun. So when I saw my initials on the ground, I had to take a picture. I thought it was quite special, but then as I walked further along the sidewalk, I noticed that GS was on the ground everywhere with an arrow pointing upwards between the G and the S. I think it might have to do with the city or waterworks.
Lunch at the Beach.
I took my packed lunch and headed to the beach today. Lucky for me it’s a short drive and I can set up my beach chair and eat peacefully while watching the ocean. There were a few surfers out today and one guy on a jet-ski.
I snapped this picture of brown seagulls in formation while I was out there. I’m going to try and head out there at least once a week since it really is so close!
